WHY MJP

What Kids Say

“Hey coach, I just wanted to let you know I committed to Northeastern earlier today. I wanna thank you for training me for the last like 5 years, I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you Shack”

Jack H.

“Hey coach just checking in with you. They started playing me at linebacker and they said they were impressed so they’re actually naming me the starter there, I’m still splitting reps at Fullback but I just wanted to say thank you bc I don’t think I’d be starting without your workouts to get me into shape.”

Tommy D.

I wanted to send you a huge thank you for training Nikkie this past summer. You provided a challenging, accountable and fun environment for her to train and become a better athlete. As a parent, you know you found something great when your daughter can’t stop smiling when she tells you hard she worked, how she progressed every week and how she can’t wait to do it again. We’ve seen meaningful improvements in all areas of her strength and fitness levels that carried over into soccer season and will position her well for ice hockey, too. Thanks again, Mike – we hope to see you again soon.

Mike has been a huge part of my son Nicholas’ athletic career since he was in Middle School! Mike’s background in strength and conditioning was the initial draw but we soon learned that we were getting much more than a strength coach! Mike’s ability to push the kids through the hard times has taught them to persevere when others would fold! The confidence in the weight room soon translated to more confidence in the classroom and in all social settings! My son became the leader he needed to be to achieve the accolades he has in the classroom, on the football field and in his track competitions! His time with Mike has been priceless as he has earned many academic and athletic achievements, including Hockomock All Star, co-MVP of the Thanksgiving Day game and being named Captain for all 3 sports seasons in his senior year! Nicholas will continue his football career at Springfield College in large part to what Mike has taught him!

“Shortly after committing to play lacrosse at Columbia, knowing I needed to be better prepared for D1 athletics, I reached out to Mike Poidomani and began my training. Before joining Mike, I had never had any formal training in a gym. I have significantly improved my physical fitness, speed, and agility in the past two years. Not only has Mike been committed to seeing me make strides in the gym, but he has supported me in my efforts on the lacrosse field and in the classroom as well. Mike is always dedicated to seeing all of his athletes succeed and has personally pushed me to do my best in order to get to where I am today.”

Abby R.

“Just committed to Umass Lowell. Wanted to thank you for everything over the past 3 years, wouldn’t have a D1 scholarship without training with you. Thanks again”

“Coach Mike is the best there is. Hands down. I started working with Mike towards the end of my sophomore year of high school. His training completely transitioned me into a new, focused athlete. Lots of other trainers will advertise their new fitness fad. With Mike, he can keep up with new technology but there is absolutely no substitute for hard work and grit. He’s pushed me to my limit. There’s days where it was not fun but that’s what I needed. Along with being an exceptional coach, Mike is also a great friend and role model. One of the most valuable things that Mike teaches his athletes is the ability to be not just physically, but mentally tough. This is overlooked in a lot of training methods and these lessons served me well during trainings at the Naval Academy. With Coach Mike, it doesn’t matter you’re size, ability, or where you came from- if you’re willing to work you will improve exponentially.”
